Dear Friends, Partners, and Supporters,

 As we close the chapter on 2024, I want to take a moment to reflect on the journey we have walked together and express my heartfelt gratitude to each of you who form part of the Unashamedly Ethical (UE) family.

This year has tested us in countless ways, but it has also revealed the depth of our resilience, the strength of our shared commitment, and the incredible impact we can achieve when we stand united for ethical leadership and accountability.

First and foremost, I want to thank our Board of Directors, led by the steadfast leadership of outgoing Chairman Edward Beeka, and our International Advisory Board, under the guidance and Chairmanship of Mr. Ray Pinson. We also want to say a special welcome to our strategic advisor, Boshoff Grobler, who has been appointed as UE Board director and congratulations on your appointment as Chairman of the UE board. Your collective vision, wisdom, and dedication have been instrumental in steering UE through a transformative year. To our team of directors, partners, staff, beneficiaries, signatories, suppliers, and supporters worldwide—thank you for believing in the mission and for standing alongside us in the fight against corruption.

This year, we embraced significant changes as an organization. Transitioning from a trust to a Non-Profit Company (NPC) was no small feat, but it was a necessary step to align our governance, compliance, and reporting structures with the future we envision. At UE, we firmly believe that we cannot call others to transformational leadership if our own house is not in order.

We have also redefined and tested our Vision, Mission, and Purpose to ensure clarity, alignment, and measurable outcomes. This process has been deeply rooted in honouring the legacy of our founder, my late father, Graham Power, while building upon the strong foundation he established. With the input of our partners, beneficiaries, and team, we are confident that we are on the right path to making an even greater impact in the years ahead.

Our work in 2024 has further affirmed the critical role we play in advocating for ethical practices and combating corruption both locally and globally. While the challenges remain significant, the progress we’ve made together proves that this mission is not only urgent but also achievable. From adding new international signatories to strengthening partnerships and expanding our reach, we are moving closer to our vision of a world marked by integrity and accountability.

To our incredible donors, investors, and supporters—you are the lifeblood of Unashamedly Ethical. Your generosity and trust empower us to continue this important work. Combating corruption is not an easy task, and it cannot be done alone. You are our partners in this fight, and for that, we are deeply grateful.

As we look ahead to 2025, we do so with hope, determination, and a renewed sense of purpose. Together, we will extend our reach, deepen our impact, and continue to inspire and equip ethical leaders and organizations worldwide. We look forward to partnering with you in the coming year as we build on the progress we’ve made and strive for even greater transformation.
