Dr Graham Power
Graham Power is the founder and Chairman of the Unashamedly Ethical campaign. He is also a founder of the Power Group of Companies (established April 1983), a leader in the field of civil engineering construction, turnkey property development and infrastructure, with a staff compliment of approximately 2000 members. He is the recipient of several local and international awards and a Honorary Doctor of Letters degree from the Nyack College and the Alliance Theological Seminary. He co-authored the books “Not by might, nor by power” and “Transform your work life”.
Ras is an electrical engineer with a B Sc Hons in Energy studies from Rand Afrikaans University (presently the University of Johannesburg ) and a MBA from the University Stellenbosch. He has 14 years of power station operation and engineering experience and has worked in the mining industry for 12 years in various capacities. Since 2011 he is a partner at Hindsight Financial and Commercial Solutions (Pty) Ltd, providing financial and commercial solutions to the engineering and mining and energy industries. He serves on various boards of trustees.
Security specialist and entrepeneur for past 26 years in the private security sector following 4 years as Security Manager in the mining sector. Managing Director of Red Security Guarding Division since October 1998. Providing guarding, accredited training and specialised services to private sector and government. Founder of Pro Events Security Services, service provider to local and international film industry and special events sector. Established and mentored companies with interest in information technology and maritime security.
Marketing and Public Relations
Bongani Mgayi is a director at the Power Group of Companies and is responsible for stakeholder relationships, marketing and branding and serves on several of the company’s boards, committees and sub-committees. He also serves on the marketing, editorial and Small Business Academy committees at the University of Stellenbosch Business School and has had his own marketing company for more than 9 years. His public and community activities include writing for business, travel and Christian publications, presenting a current affairs programme on TBN Africa and serving as chaplain to the Western Cape taxi associations.
