It is crucial that we live up to the commitments that we make and have signed for. Our ‘Yes’ must be ‘Yes’, and our ‘No’ must be ‘No’.
If any of our signatories (Individual or Organisational) have been guilty of unethical behavior and have transgressed the Code of Conduct (which you can read here) in any way, recourse is provided through our Ombudsman.
The Ombudsman will adjudicate the complaint and if necessary, institute disciplinary measures. In this way, disputes between signatories may be handled ‘internally’ without necessarily involving the legal system of the country.
